There is a slight resemblance to the blonde foppish one-but I don't remember him be so tall, and, well, broad (for your sake I hope you don't meet Porgy Banks, she goes a bit funny alround huge, tall, muscular blokes), oh and now I think about it, blondie had more hands. Nothing like him.

Oh who is this, one so Lordly?
A mere Man or king of Men?
From Valinor it's said he comes,
And Tinuviel he wed!

Oh Grand Lord, come quickly,
We lack such as you in Forumshire,
Any noble Man of high stock,
(An one, at least, is quire).

Oh Beren, Lord Beyond the Sea,
Oh Blessed One of Valinor,
Hurry swiftly across the sea,
Oh hasten to our shore.

For we need a Real Man among us,
We're tired of Banks and Tyrants,
Oh how I pine for Real Men,
Come quick, you'll find me pliant.

I only wish to go to knee,
To worship your every member,
To kiss and praise you, Beren, sir,
I'm Fjordian, remember!

Oh to be so much in love,
spiritually,
to love my lass but just
intuitively,

to love the angles of her
shape,
and perfect mouth,
agape,

to love without a body's
yearning,
just watching quietly and
always learning,

oh feminine particle, womanly
perfection,
if only I could raise a great
erection,

but such erection could never
please you,
how could such an erection truly
appease you?

one who seems so pure
(at least to me),
oh Golden Lassie,
oh Honey Bee.

It's all illusion, nothing is
real at all,
Porgy - so aloof, oh heed
my call,

Join me in some esoteric
Palatinate,
where souls meet sweetly
at the gates,

And flesh is left for sordid
mortals,
Oh help me find your spiritual
portal.

Channnelled from a poem someone will one day write on behalf of naive old me,
Wisey Banks.

Somehow love without bodies just doesn't seem very Porgy, sorry Wisey I think you'll be beating out your own poems tonight!

Oh how harsh the world doth seem,
When one love's a beautiful Queen,
Queen of a village, quite small and quaint,
Where big men brag and piggies faint,

See her, such buxom beauty bouncing round,
Engendering love in me pure and profound,
Oh how I fell for her when we met,
She seemed so pure in her fishnets,

And when she ran into my arms,
How could I not lie deep within her charms?
But I long so much for a "spiritual" affair,
The irony: she doesn't seem to care!

All she wants to do is "play",
Each and every lifelong day,
But what of "thought" and "prayer"
and "channelling"- my heart laid bare.... Sad

Woohoo, Beren's back! cheers Er ... except, this is Tin's boyfriend Beren, not the guy who posted as Beren on the old Hobbit forum, right? I really shouldn't try to sort out the web of "who's who" when it's this late. No

Either way, welcome! Very Happy

I have heard of this other Beren, and no, I am not he. We look quite different. And I feel boyfriend is too informal a word for me and my Tinuviel.
However, I admire Mr. Bank's poetry, though some of it is a bit... personal Very Happy Nice to meet you all!

Personnal question Beren, please don't slap me with your good hand, but are you and Tin actually married? I mean the histories seem a bit vague on the point you see, I mean you and Tin had descendents but I've never been able to work out from the Lay of Luthien um, when, exactly when you found the time. Ahh that makes sense Beren! I'd offer you a buckie to sooth your embarrassment at the topic but I understand you have an irrational fear of buckie which I can prove irrational with any number of bonefide scientific papers on its merits from reputable Scotsdale Acadamies (well ok they are Buckie Acadamies but their finding still stand, or at least stagger).

Hey 3dbluraymovies! Do you have any hobbies? Movies, for instance? Perhaps movies in 3D? Or maybe even BlurRay Movies in 3D? Cool

I can only come to visit now and then and it is sad to see that except for Petty noone else seems to be about. Wisey, Gandalf's beard, Tin, though I remember she is away, Pretty, Orwell, well you see.. It is rather echoey here, and that makes me feel rather cold and I shall have a hot tea, steamey hot and fragrant with honey and cream, and a nice lovely breakfast, well actually second since I usually have my first one around four thirty in the morning or even earlier. But I shall think of you all, Eldo, all of you and wonder how you do right now Sad

Aaaw, thank you leelee, and I'm sorry I haven't been on as much. I've had a lot on my mind lately and haven't been online as much as I usually am. Also, I'm going to be visiting with out-of-town family starting tomorrow and so I probably won't be on until next Wednesday or thereabouts. But I'll check the forum if I can and I'll be sure to post here again promptly once I can. Very Happy

I had a blast, that's all I'll say for now Very Happy I'll post pictures when I get some copies, hopefully someone took a few good ones Smile
