Yeah it's a really conservative school and the decision was a little contraversial to say the least. I'm just glad I never when there as a kid

Is this your way of asking for another post about grey in horse terminology? I found another opinion from a Rohir at another site, and I might post it here someday...

... although I'm still working on the 'paste' part of 'copy and paste' however. The paste I'm using washes off the computer screen easily enough, but I'm beginning to think this isn't the proper way to do it in any case.

Sure, I'd love to hear more opinions Very Happy

I'm not sure I can help with the copy/paste. I've always assumed it referred to "paste" as in fake glass gemstones, both Copy and Paste implying inferior value to the original. I'm not sure how this would devalue an opinion however....

R:A, well as long as your sister can read what she likes at home, she will be able to let her imagination wander through Middle Earth like you do, encourage her to read LOTR and tell her not to believe the rubbish pedalled at her school, thats what older brothers are for. Very Happy

I really want her to read the Hobbit before the film comes out, so she'll be able to have her imagination to guide her instead of the film.

If she still hasn't read it as the film release draws near best tie her to a chair and read it to her- might seem harsh but its nowhere near as harsh as letting PJ ruin her imagined vision of the Hobbit for life. Mad

It's sad to think of a generation who will only know the films.... Sad

It could be worse. What if a Hobbit video game came out before the movie?

I don't know if you're being ironic & hip but the video game always comes out before any blockbuster film?!?! Luckily for everyone concerned, I think the tie-in video game for The Hobbit is lego based so there's probably no reason to ever read The Hobbit ever again! Damn, gotta love that craaazy lego! Lego 4 eva! (Okay, I'm going now... Rolling Eyes)
