The Smitharillion

Post by Eldorion on Tue Feb 06, 2018 9:28 am

One of those late night "why not?" ideas: what if one were to replace the chapter titles of The Silmarillion (interspersed with a smattering of chapter/section titles from The History of Middle-earth) with the names of songs by The Smiths? Some of them are just dumb puns or references, others I think are actually rather fitting, and a few are both. Just messing around but I wanted to have a copy saved and I figured I'd post it here on the off chance anyone else finds it amusing. Smile Full YouTube playlist below:

Not a bad idea tho ? I'm sure, if you've got your thinking head on you could find other songs that would fit ? I bet there's some good ones for Frodo !!
