What's on your desktop?
Variation on an idea I've seen on other forums where you post a snap shot of your pc desk (but as loads of folks have laptops these days they tend not to have a comp desk so much), the idea is you post snap shots of your desktop or something you're doing on your desktop.

Re: What's on your desktop?
Trouble with visualising Bree /Hobbit Movie News is that compared to Forumshire there is nothing there. No avators, no newspapers, no pubs, no Sheriffs, no Tower of Lore or Lockholes. Even peoples names in Bree are boring and dull in comparison to Forumshire's array of excitingly named personalities. So unless you can think how it should look (and dont say like the films! That would be to miss the point) there will be no Bree in the next one.
However there will be a trip to Scotshobbitland and Skajisthingymaybob where Rigdrotten's clans live in a pink wonderland (just need to work out how to spell it for the signpost!)

Re: What's on your desktop?
Well you've got to admit there's a lack of notable places in Bree- there's no News of the Pure offices, no Our Lady of the Ankle-length Frock equivelent no Needlehole, or Sherriffs, and the names are all from that (imaginary) place the 'real world', which has no place in a sensible hobbit land.

Re: What's on your desktop?
I should I feel warn you Mrs Figg that such heathen language will only further inflame the ardour of Orwell (most things do). 'Infernale'
in the ferns is some ale? That can't be it, I often end up drunk in the ferns and I've never found ale there I didn't bring with me!

What did I do?! Its all that Mrs Figg's doing. Stirring up trouble, probably swearing in Southron too. Mark my words.
