I wish I could help you out by taking a bit of your excess heat Mrs Figg. We seem to be stuck at 60-65F (16-18C). More comfortable I admit, but no less crabbitworthy to a farmer who's trying to grow a crop.

thanks guys. its an Saharan anticyclone called Lucifer its normally only this hot in Quwait. there is no escape I am afraid, and its horribly humid as well so no sleep either. I am trying to take my mind off it with Dr Who, I need to find the next episode fast. The fires are a bit worrying though. 18 degrees sounds heavenly at the mo.

Lucky id its aboce 10 here and its gently raining- see you should have extended your visit to Scotshobbitland Mrs Figg- you couldnt start a forest fire here right now with a blow torch and 1000 gallons of petrol.

Just got back from dropping my sister off from college and I'm kind of lost I feel like a baby duck who's lost its mother! What do I do with myself!

Remember those chickens I mentioned before? Well we decided to go build them a bigger better coop- and we succeeded- unfortunately I accidently stood on a bit of wood- with a big nail in it!
Not happy, cant put any weight on it at all without a suprising amount of pain. So reduced to hobbling about the flat swearing every few minutes (granted only the hobbling is new there but still).

I hope you keep it clean and that doesn't get infected. Sounds pretty bad. Get well soon!

I don't think we need to worry, Eldo. The alcohol level in his blood will probably kill the infection or make the bacteria too drunk to remember what they were suppose to do.

Infections are no laughing manner! Don't walk barefoot in any place wet or humid that is publically used! MRSA is a bitch! Don't let it sneak into your cut!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been there, done that, NOT GOOD!


P.S. so the musical I was writing? the Teacher supervising decided to change our villan's character. Instead of a slutty sorceress, she's Charlie (the time traveller) daughter. It's become a play about Daddy issues, and I keep trying to get the rest of my peers to stand and fight for it with me, but everyone is laying down their swords and giving in. Do I try one last time to plead my case (though completely on my own in my crusade) or do I bite the bullet and try to re-write a perfectly usable script?

Was the problem with the sluttiness? Maybe you could try to downplay that as a compromise.

My sympathies for your situation, Tin. I'd probably stick it out as long as I could for my vision as the writer but there comes a point when you're just butting heads and building grudges. I can't say where that point is since I'm not part of the situation, though.
