I'm getting more and more frustrated with all these things Tolkien left out! What a bumbler.

Gandalf talking about courage just like we heard about from the Comic-Con footage.
The infamous bunny Sled Banghead we heard about from Cinema-Con. I wonder why no Mirkwood. Is that film 2 now as well? With all the hype around finally seeing the legendary bunny sled, I was fully ready to see Tauriel doing some impossible acrobats to show that women are equal to men. One of the messages most crucial to the Hobbit.

Stills

Dol Guldur?

Gandy and Galads- courage eh? So not the reason Gandalf gives in UT which I suppose avoids a law suit!

Off on an adventure! (Hopefully without a hanky)

Trolls- not much like their FotR's stone selves really. And still not heard a word out of them yet other than grunts.

Bilbo fighting a goblin with Sting!! Shocked Shocked

Elronds Batcave

Istari rides hare powered sled shocker!

Radagast catches the interest of the RSPCA for fondling hedgehogs, using hares as transport and keeping animals in a shit sty.

That seems quite big for a Mirkwood spider. Suspect (Never mind that its attacking Rhosgobel and Raddy!)

Ahh he's adorable! Quick market the soft toys!

Why wait for sunrise when you can crack a cliff in two and get it early- no hanging about mimicking voices here!

Warg- better than before but something still not quite right yet to my minds eye.

Avalanche buries company in FotR? Best make this one 100 times bigger then hadn't we?

Rivendell as posed for 3D

A cunning dwarvish escape plan, maybe.

I actually rather like this one! Shocked

Ok so the film ends when most of the dwarves are crushed to death or puncured by splintered wood when this falls on them- it appears to be wearing a crown.

So long as Tauriel shows enough skin I may forgive Tolkien for all the rest he left out. Unfortunately she seems to be covered wrist to ankle. If you're gonna interpolate at least make it worth it, dammit! bounce

here petty, more scenes and you can choose different endings for your trailer ^^ also it's not a batcave. it's outside, it's just dark. I like Radagast, and the hedgehog, did u know the sherlock fandom refers to Martin Freeman/watson as a hedgehog? I think the wargs looks good. they're not supposed to look too wolfy, or else it's just .. too cuddly. I wish they would have dialouge for the trolls, but hey... I frankly don't care anymore.

Knowing Jackson's sense of humor, there will probably be plenty of Short jokes between Tauriel and Kili. Wink
I still hope that there's no romance between them, but if there is, that's why. To be able tell those jokes! lol! My prediction, anyways.

Interesting idea that Norc- basically extra bits of footage.

Im having problems playing it at the moment sadly- bad stuttering playback.
And adorable- yes thats exactly the first adjective that springs to mind when I think Gollum.

I think the moment between Thorin and Elrond is sort of neat. All the Gollum moments are dumb though. Played for comedy or like the additional ending to remind people of Lotr. Just as I feared.
The additional Bilbo ending was alright. Sort of the same problem as the Gollum comedy, a bit too modern. I think the Bilbo ending was alright enough though. I still would have preferred," Struck by lightning" instead of him just fainting.

I like the Gandalf ending to the trailer the most. Pure invention, but good. I think it captures Bilbo and Gandalf's friendship really well while also conveying the distrust from the dwarves Bilbo will have to overcome. Sets the the stage nicely.

Ayup Jason...

Thanks. It's great to be back... The new trailer made me laugh, TBH. as I think there's TWO films within it. A colourful, exciting, Bunny-sled led Kids film in the vein of throwaway 'Spy-Kids' type romp, all reds, gold and Blue etc, then there's the erm, Boring old bothersome 'Real' Story to get on with, in its Browns, greens, silvers and Blacks. I absolutely LOATHE the scottish Thorin, catty Morgan Freedman as Dildo, and the Beefed-up Smeagol who already feels primed to be Angry from frame one. Not his 'Innocent-lost' air that he has until he finds his Precious lost. Shame that. Looks like the Jigsaw's all made ready tocutup... PS. IHATE the Misty-mountain Orc that fights Dildo too. (and where did THAT happen in the book ?) 6/10 in all honesty...
