It is WAY too late for me, got work and stuff in the morning so I have to go. Sad
Will be fun to catch up tomorrow though.

Dinner is in about five minutes. I had hoped to see the Creative Corner Awards before I had to go. Maybe I can negotiate an extension... Razz

He said he was going on a 9 hour bus ride yesterday so my guess is he's out of town. Possibly canoeing through the Pacific Ocean again, though I hope not given that it's the middle of winter. Suspect

I've asked myself that question many times in the last week. Nod

The 9 hour bus ride on a Vietnamese bus turned into an interesting week of walkabout. I'm back to internet now but still a couple days from home.

What did I miss? Very Happy

One hell of a fancy dress party, and I think a few people passed out from the buckie at the afterparty. Laughing

I'm glad to hear you had an interesting week, but also glad that you're nearly back. cheers

The red carpet photos from News of the Pure are spread out over a few pages, starting here:

http://www.hobbitmovieforum.com/t544-the-2012-forumshire-awards-sponsored-by-notp-and-buckie#57818

I also collected snapshots of everyone's fancy outfits here:

http://www.hobbitmovieforum.com/t544p315-the-2012-forumshire-awards-sponsored-by-notp-and-buckie#58254

The entire ceremony is worth reading through if you have the time, though. Smile

Such sartorial splendor! I'm humbled. I probably would have showed up in my farm boots and tracked mud and sh*t all over your red carpet.

I'm glad at least some of you ended up in a ditch. It sounds like it was a wonderful post-party! :carrot:

It was terrible fraudulent affair where only toadies and Scothobbit-sympathizers got awards - and the Free Spirited Truly Handsome and Talented got next to nothing...Rigged from deck to Crows Nest it was! Extremely Crabbit
