Vegetables should be allowed to roam free in the wilds where they can experiment with growing into different suggestive shapes- they should not be farmed and then eaten alive in the prime of their lives  Mad

This is a hint to get Dave involved isnt it  Laughing
There has to be some border control concerning vegetables, Uncontrolled veg can lead to maverick behaviour rampaging across civilized England. Radical groups springing up willy nilly across fields & gardens, deep spine chilling howling in the night from the lesser spotted Raddish, the ambushing of door stop deliveries from malformed potatoes, & the heinous crime of washing line theft from over organic Runner Beans, not a world I want to live in, Uh-huh.

Gooseberry jam is wonderful, but every year I seemingly forget how much I like it. The rediscovery is a pleasant surprise of course, but still.. a bit strange.

Are you sure? You see, I've just been told not remembering eating gooseberries is a primary symptom of eating gooseberries.

All evidence seem to point to some gooseberry consumption. Shrugging

What I can't remember is a decent translation of stikkelsbærsaft.
Mom made that one time and it was unforgettable. She didn't make a translation, but stikkelsbærsaft. Gooseberry.... lemonade? Juice? Shrugging

Oh, that sounds great. Very Happy  We have about one bush at our cabin, so get to make about one or two glasses of gooseberry jam a year. Which is to die for, but, yeah, there's not a lot of it.

I don't think I've actually eaten gooseberries since I was a kid.

Saft... Yeah, not sure either. scratch
