I'd rather go blind than see any more PJ deleted scenes.

I think watching more PJ Tolkien attempts has a high probability of making you blind due to eventually gauging your own eyes out Mad

I'd be interested in LotR deleted scenes, but no more hobbit deleted scenes, unless they are scenes directly from the book.

I cant bear the thought of all that LOTR stuff just hanging around in a drawer, I want to see Faramir's wedding and the bit where Galadriel meets Arwen, I saw a still of that scene but never a clip. Also the gorgeous bit where Legolas and Gimli have obviously gone on their boys trip, the Glittering caves, so much! Razz

I'd guess they left the glittering caves out because Pj had decided it was better to spend screen time making a bro-romance between Legolas and Aragorn instead.

Watch the entire Helms Deep sequence- count the scenes between Legolas and Aragorn and note the substance of them- loss, friendship, brotherhood, forgiveness- do the same with scenes between Gimli and Legolas- comedic humour and slapstick. The End. This balance is true throughout after FotR.
Sticking two lines of dialogue right before the end battle saying it happened doesn't mean its actually on screen.

I'm arguably looking forward to the parts the didn't make it into the Council of Elrond scene the most, as it's rumored to have a lot of more dialogue coming from the characters we see in the book (also based on some of the pictures from the slideshow). I'd love those scenes restored in your tolkienedit, petty. Although I understand why they were cut out in the version we see in the film, as it was crucial for the pacing of the movie (including the pacing of the music; I don't think people making the fanedits acknowledge how much the music was in sinc with what was going on).

Oh, but the scenes cut from the Council of Elrond have come out, did you not know?

{{I do! I just lack the talent to do what I would want to about it Mad Which is why i would love to do a purist edit of LotR's as a collaboration with Goldeneye- as Goldeneye does I believe have the talent when it comes to the sound engineering that I lack, and I of course can bring crabbit to the table, as my only issue with Goldeneye's edits is not crabbit enough- too much PJ gets by at the expense of some Tolkien here and there!}}}
