Re: Game of Thrones [2]
So far Sansa is alive in the books, but she's nowhere near where she is in the series. And she never had any triumphs.

Not long now!
If only WoW were so close...

- Downer:
I was going to post a pithy giphy of "Get Hype!" and then that reminded me of how Cleganebowl never happened and how the hype-train derailed quite some time ago, taking much of the show's appeal with it.

Speaking of which, where's Blue? He should be rallying around for the launch of a new season.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
I watched it too!
I enjoyed it.
Ed Sheeran.
I enjoyed it.

- Spoiler:
I think one of my favourite parts is that none of the Targaryen lot had any dialogue.
Although it bothered me no end that Euron and the bloody Kraken-folk have somehow built 1,000 ships in the space between this episode and mid-way through last season.I also though that the Hound and the brotherhood were less forced than last season. For all that the scene in which the Hound sees the future in the flames felt inconsistent with his part in the story, it did emotionally resonate with me as good motivation for his character.
I was quite relieved that Arya didn't super-movie stab all those Lannister soldiers in their exposed necks. Typically, that scene would end with all the soldiers dead, so it was a nice change of pace from last season's bullshit scene in which the Hound kills everyone around the campfire, or how the peaceful villagers all died. About bloody time a scene wasn't all grim-dark and dismal!
Ed Sheeran.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
*sigh* its so good to be back in Westeros. good solid first episode, more of a recap. bloody hell Ed Shearan with a hipster haircut. they could have mediaevelled it up a bit. anyway apart from the irritating ginger, it was not bad indeedy.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Gingers aplenty in Westeros, not so much in the Tardis...

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Watched the first episode, didn't really plan on watching any of this season. Liked it, but what I'm left with is a wish that Arya kills Ed Sheeran.
