Does the page show the whole picture on desktop? Seems to have cut out the right hand side on my mobile.

The river is always brown, it is the natural silt on the riverbed. Although I am sure there are various pollutants in there that is not what makes it that colour.

I recommend being circumspect, though your kilt could probably repel any remonstrative missile.

{{ This piece on my little town is both a perfect example of why Scots are not particularly racist, we don't have the time as it's not foreigners you have to worry about its those Scottish bastards over there! Twisted Evil And highlights wonderfully something Tolkien was fond of pointing out in hobbits as a critique about small town and village thinking, because those Bucklanders, they arent like us, bit queer with queer ways, not to be trusted Nod  In my home town the most likely excuse to be blamed for any social issue will nearly always be, 'its all the folk they let in from across the Water.' (that being the river Clyde in this case, just commonly referred to as the Water and everything from Gourock to Glasgow and beyond as, 'across the Water')}}}

Those flower shots are close to wow-inducing.  But it kind of hacks me off that you can be 10 degrees of latitude further north and have full-blown spring while we are just seeing buds.  East coast versus west coast climatology but I don't have to like it. Mad
