this is work in progress. please let me know how you feel about it. There is a plan behind this story, but it is work in progress, so not all the chapters and aspects of it is finished.

and good luck finding out who this is.

Hannah and Ethel Hannah10
HANNAH AND ETHEL
CHAPTER ONE

“Hannah!”
The world looked really funny from this angle.
“Hannah! Where are you, you silly girl?”
I turned myself over on my back. I could feel my weight on the floor and all of my backbones slowly becoming heavier against the rug. I closed my eyes and stretched myself out until I lay there like a starfish. I could feel a slight pain in my back. It was good to stretch.
“There you are” moms face looked funny up-side down, “what the bloody hell are you doing lying there under the table.” I closed my eyes and tried to ignore her.
“Get out from there and help me with the dishes, young woman.”
“what for?”
“Because I tell you to.”
“If I don’t?” I lifted up my legs and tried to place my feet flat under the underside of the table.
“Then get out and leave me alone. I don’t wanna see you laying around here like a lazy sack.”
“But I am a lazy sack!”
“OUT!” I jumped up, felt dizzy, but I darted to the front door before mom could change her mind. I slipped into my boots and grabbed my raincoat. It wasn’t raining outside, but the air was damp and it was always good to be on the safe side. At least sometimes. I looked up at the sky. I could see some birds… I wonder… I went into the old shack and looked for my bow and arrows. I knew it wasn’t legal to hunt with a bow, or even hunting season, but that had never stopped me. And squirrels… who cares.

In the woods the ground was wet and I was glad I had my boots on. The trees grew thick and the layer of growth was heavy and absorbed all the sound. Suddenly I noticed something, something green. Green, you may think, how can you notice something green in a forest, but this wasn’t normal green. This was a synthetic looking green colour. I bent down and picked it up. It was a feather. An alarmingly green feather. Like a parrot. Where did this come from? I bent my bow and took out an arrow from the quiver. I lay it carefully on the string. I needed to catch this green feathered bird. Well, kill. I put the feather in my pocket. Maybe someone’s parrot got out through an open window or something. I tried to walk without making a single noise. THERE! Something moved! I threw myself in the ground, I needed to get closer. I crept towards it. The branches were still moving slightly… I could feel my heart beat rising. I spent my bow. I was in clear position; the animal just had to come out of the trees now. I focused my eyes. Nothing happened. I slowly got up, my bow still bent. Moving as slowly and carefully towards the branches as I could, which were now perfectly steady. Suddenly I saw it. Two big, round eyes stared down at me. It was an owl. I let the arrow go. With a dampened thump it landed in front of me. I had caught it right before it would have made the decision to fly away. I picked it up. It wasn’t green. It had a beautiful grey colour. I studied its long claws, its golden beak. I pulled out the wing and studied how long it was. It would never fly again. I wondered how it was to fly. Pulling out the arrow I noticed that it had begun to rain. Maybe I had gotten so close because of the disturbance of the rain. I smiled to myself. True hunter. I pulled out the longest of the owls beautiful feathers and fastened it carefully and tight in one of my long braids. Now I was like an Indian. I threw the bird in the bushes. I still wanted to find this green feathered bird.

I went further into the forest. It was raining heavily now. I swear I could see something moving among the trees around me, but every time I turned to look, whatever it was had vanished. I looked everywhere for the green bird, but my sense of hearing was lousy in the rain and the trees stood too thick to see anything. The owl was still the catch of the day, but I did spot a ferret. It was too quick though. Maybe I could see if I found some nests. And if I was lucky there could be some eggs there too. At this time of year they should have laid some eggs at least. The chickens would be recognisable, though. I could crack the eggs and look at them. I looked up at the treetops to see if I could spot any nests, and as I expected, there was quite a few. I chose the tree that looked the easiest to climb. My fingers were numb out of cold and I was wet all the way to my skin, but up the tree I would climb. I lay the bow and the quiver of arrows down beside the tree. With both hands I grabbed the thick trunk. It was wet and slippery, but I was determined to do it. I felt the rough surface under my palms as I search for a good place to hold. It was hard to climb, my boots slipped several times, but I steadily held on and climbed higher and higher up the tree. I reached out for a branch. It was as thick as my leg. “It’ll hold.” I slowly shifted my body weight over to the branch. I was nearly at the top now. I got a bit off balance and my feet hit the trunk a couple of times, but I did not fall. I looked down. I was high up. Really high up. Holding tightly around the branch I lifted myself up until I had managed to sit steadily on it.
“HAH!” I hit the trunk with my fist in triumph.
“You can’t defeat me old tree!” Weaving my arms in the air and hitting the tree trunk in some sort of dance, leaves started falling around me.
“That was odd.” I said, but then I saw, it wasn’t leaves, it was feathers. Green feathers. Suddenly something huge and feathery hit me in the face. In surprise I lost my balance and before I knew it I fell through branches and twigs and leaves in an enormous speed! I hit the ground hard and the air left my lungs. For good, probably. I saw stars and green feathers then all was black.

“you okay?”
“hmpf…”
“what?”
“Imfiiiine!”
“Are you okay?” shut up… my whole back hurt. I still had my eyes closed.
“hey, you, are you okay.” This man’s voice had bothering me for quite some time now. Slightly opening one eye I could see a tall figure standing over me. He had an angular face and really sharp, green eyes. He smiled at me. Big, round, white teeth.
“you okay?”
“no.” I muttered. He reached out his hand and I gladly took it. It was more painful to sit up then I had thought it would be.
“broken anything?” He looked at me with a very concerned look. I glared at him.
“I don’t know. You tell me!” I pushed back and got up on my own. I shouldn’t have. My vision was suddenly a white fog and fell right into his arms.
“I think you got yourself a concussion, milady.” What? Did he say.. milady? He grinned. He had some sort of ugly, brown poncho on and, oh the horror, white tights. His hair was long and blond. Some sort of honey colour. I wanted to look away, it was awkward just staring at him like that, but his ears had caught my eyes. They were long and pointy.
“who… what are you?” Rude? Maybe.
“I’m Ethel.”
“That’s a girl’s name.”
“Is it?”
“yes.” Long pause.
“if you say so. My name is Ethel, anyways, nice to meet you Hannah.” He held out his hand. I did not take it.
“Shame you killed my friend back there.” He looked down and his voice broke.
“what?”
“The owl, he was with me.” His voice was now unsteady and tears welled up in his keen eyes.
“oh..” I felt cold and a stinging feeling filled my throat. “I’m so-“
“You evil little human” his piercing green eyes met mine.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t know, I-“
“is that any excuse” he stepped closer to me, towering over me. His broad shoulders stopping the light and leaving me in darkness. I wanted to run away, but I couldn’t move.
“no.. no it’s not.” I felt panic creeping up my back. “so sorry.” I looked away. With long fingers he turned my face towards him and forced me to look at him. His face was grave and he examined me. Why, I don’t know, but it took forever. Then he smiled and laughed.
“humans.” Ethel turned away and picked up my bow, “looks like there is some good in you, Hannah.”
“what do you mean? Humans? Is that an insult.” Crossing my arms in defence I stared back at him in what I hope was a fierce look.
“no, not at all, Hannah.”
“How do you know my name!?”
“I just do.” What an annoying prick. I pulled my bow back and started marching home. “BYE!”
“wait, you have to come with me!” he ran after me and held me back.
“Why would I do that?”
“I want you to.”
“I just killed your friend, no you don’t.”
“You’re right, I don’t.” I turned away again heading for what I believed was the right direction.
“PLEASE COME WITH ME!” he shouted after me. “WE NEED YOU!”
“WHO’RE WE?!” I shouted back. I was curious now. He came running towards me.
“Please.. I’m begging you.” His eyes were yet again filled with tears. “I have to save my people, my country.” His lip was shaking.
“yes, okay..” Ethel’s face lit up.
“come, this way!”

Hannah and Ethel Empty Re: Hannah and Ethel

Post by Another anon-author on Wed May 09, 2012 3:52 pm

I followed him obediently, but I still wasn’t quite sure if I should trust this fellow. We walked a while in silence, but it seemed to me that we really weren’t going anywhere.
“Excuse me, where exactly are we going?” He walked a bit round in circles and suddenly stopped, stamped on the ground, jumped a bit and then...
“Exactly... here,” he scratched his chin and mostly to himself, he said, “this is the perfect spot.”
I started to get a bit suspicious and asked what this place was so perfect for. He looked at me with a wrinkle between his eyes, as if considering if he should tell me.
“I have to take you with me, will you come?” I was startled by this weird answer.
“I’m sorry, what did you say? Take me with you where?” I was getting the feeling that if I followed him, I would probably regret it. But still... the day had been quite boring. He took a stick and a bag out from under his poncho. Ethel started drawing on the ground and spreading some powder from the little bag around on it. I wanted to ask, but he looked so concentrated that I did not want to interrupt him.
“You have to close your eyes,” he said, “the light may harm your human eyes.” For some reason I felt that that was an insult.
“What about you then!” I said sarcastically.
“I’m not human.”
“Yes, you are, weirdo!”
“No, I’m an elf.”
“An elf? Yeah right! And I’m a dog! Where are your wings?”
A sad glance came over him and he looked down at his feet.
“They took them, didn’t think I deserved them.”
He looked at me once again, but the sadness was gone. Was he joking with me?
“Now, close your eyes, please.”
I didn’t argue, whatever he was going to do it was probably best to do as he said. Even through my shut eyelids and fingers, I could see the sharp light and I was glad I had closed my eyes.
When I finally was allowed to open them again, a very strange sight stood before me. It was a single arcade in grey stone with tall arches on both sides; it was like it was supposed to be a door in between, but instead it was a kind of dark, reddish light.
“I’m not going through that if that’s what you’re planning.” It was not tempting at all!
“Well, that is exactly what my plans are. Please, come with me.” His eyes were begging, but I still felt no desire to go through.
“Listen, Hannah, it’s really important that you come voluntarily. We need you.” I backed away from the archway. I felt scared. There was something heavy and foul about the air coming out of the arcade.
“Why? Who are ‘we’?”
“Please, come.”
“I sense evilness in there.” I really did, like a gripping hand it clutched around my throat and I felt suffocated. I backed further off, I would much rather stay here in the woods and hunt some crows. Ethel came towards me, I thought he looked good (I did, in the start), but now he was threatening and the determined look upon his face scared me.
“No, please, I don’t want to go with you. I’m sorry!”
I turned around and started to run, but he reacted quickly and darted after me. Damn it, he was fast, even on uneven ground.
“Stop!” I shouted. “Leave me alone! Go away!” My feet went like drumsticks but he was right behind me. “I SAID! PISS O-“ I tripped and dived through the air and landed hard a couple of feet further away. Second time today I hoped I wasn’t seriously injured.
“I AM NOT COMING WITH YOU!” I shouted with my last breath holding my hands up in front of me like some sort of weapon. Ethel stopped, looking very puzzled.
“But you don’t get it, Hannah. You need to come.” He looked as if he was about to start crying. Again. I felt very bad about myself. The one thing I hated the most in this world, was the feeling I get when I make someone cry.
“I’m sorry Ethel.” I got up, but still I kept the distance between us.
“It’s just that I don’t like the look of that...thing” He came a bit closer, but when I backed away, he stopped.
Oh no, don’t cry!
“Please,” he begged, “Please, come with me. I really don’t want to force you. You see, I’m not doing this for myself; I do this to save my people and to do that, you have to help me. I don’t want to harm you.” I still had my doubts, but I couldn’t see anything selfish or evil in him. His green eyes were now filled with sparkling tears.
“I’m not evil... Please believe me. I’m one of the good people.”
I examined him and wondered...
“But why didn’t they think you deserved your wings then?”
He smiled a sad smile...
“They don’t understand, you see... I’m kind of working against them but still I’m kind of helping them too.” I fell out.
“I don’t understand. Are you good, but working against your own?”
He thought about it and came to a conclusion.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,”
“but that’s treason! That’s bad!”
“No, you don’t see! It’s for their own good!”
I had had enough of this nonsense.
“Good my ass! I’m leaving! Can you hand me my bow?”
I held my hand out.
“No!” Ethel grabbed me and pulled me back towards the archway. I struggled desperately. His thin arms were surprisingly strong. I had no chance! I shouted for help, but of course, there was no one around to assist.

Not sleeping.

sorry, there are some annoying faults here. I won't point them out, cause those who haven't noticed will. I'm just very picky about my own work. Reason these faults are here is because the intro is rewritten so the last one here is knitted together with the main story which I wrote some time ago. It's not finished. yet. maybe one time it will ;)

Hannah and Ethel Empty Re: Hannah and Ethel

Post by Another anon-author on Wed May 09, 2012 4:11 pm

I woke up for the second time today feeling like every bone in my body was broken and I was damaged for life. For instant my lungs hurt, I had a headache I doubted would ever go away and I wasn’t sure my arms and legs would ever truly recover. The scary part was I couldn’t remember where I got these injuries. I sat up and almost fainted. My surroundings were so farfetched. I’ve never seen anything like this. I thought that I might be dreaming hadn’t it been for the excruciating pain in my body. Definitely awake, but where? All around me it was this red, dry sand and the sky was dark and ominous. The hills were bleak and there was no sign of life. Not a tree, not a bird, nothing. I would’ve thought it was a desert, but it was too cold and bits of grass and stones poked up here and there. Not far of Ethel was sitting on a rock.
“Ok, where have you brought me you-“ here I called him something very insulting.
“To the dark side,” he answered. “To the Evilies’ side”
“Evilies?” I forgot to be angry when I heard this odd word.
“The citizens of Evileria. The land of evil.”
“What do you mean by ‘the land of evil’?” I asked, “Weren’t you to be on the good side?”
“I am, but at the moment the Goodies are acting all stupid.”
“I’m sorry, did you just say ‘the Goodies’?” I really was starting to doubt this guy again.
“Are you a bit thick? The Goodies are of course the citizens of Gooderia, the land of good.” He said, giving me a hopelessly look, like I really should have known this.
“Then why am I here?” I continued to ask.
“Haven’t I just explained it all to you? I need your help. We all need your help”
“You haven’t explained a thing! Why me? How can I help?”
He stood up and walked towards me, staring me right in the eyes.
“Because you are something I’m not and the Evilies are not. You’re human. You’re both good and evil.”
“I’m not evil!”
“Yes, you are.”
“I’m not, you stupid bastard!”
“The good people always win. I’m right and you’re wrong.”
“You said I also was good, so I’m right too! I’m not evil!”
“You’re evil too, therefore you’re wrong and I’m right.”
“I AM NOT EVIL!”
Ethel started laughing, but I was furious!
“DON’T YOU LISTEN?!”
“Have you ever felt anger? Or been acting selfish? Said rude things to people? Taken the last chocolate, even though you know the person next to you really would like to have it?” I fell silent... I had done it. All of it.
Ethel was right. The good people always win and evil people lose. I am a bit evil.
“But you’re good too, Hannah.” Ethel said.
I thought about it and I finally understood that he was totally right. I snorted to conceal a sudden laughter and mumbled: “You’re right, the good always win.” The elf without wings smiled at me and said with a self-confident expression: “I know.”

Hannah and Ethel Empty Re: Hannah and Ethel

Post by Another anon-author on Wed May 09, 2012 11:40 pm

I was placed in a room in the big castle in Evileria. It looked, at the sight of it, like I was very welcomed by the king, or whoever ruled the land. The walls were painted in a deep, blue colour and the bed was broad and had sheets of deep, red silk. The window was almost covering the whole of the third wall and long, heavy curtains in the same colour of the sheets shut the approaching daylight outside. So I had travelled in time? It was morning right, when I left? This was giving me a headache. The fireplace crackled merrily and warmed my cold feet. I could really make myself comfortable here, though I couldn’t get the thought that I was in the evil land out of my head. I really think I would have preferred to be on the goodies’ side. Ethel had disappeared right away; said he had some important things to take care of. It was okay, but I was starting to get bored now. And hungry.
I lay down on the bed when someone knocked on the door. Or actually, he was being quite impolite, ‘cause he just walked straight into my room without awaiting an answer. It wasn’t Ethel, but the strangest man I’ve ever seen. Or “man” may be the wrong word here. He was tall, had extremely long goat-legs, and covered in red fur, gigantic yellowish horns like a bull, no pants (so he was a man) and absolutely no arms. He wasn’t human, that I could say for certain.
“Do you fancy a cup of tea and something to set your teeth in?”
I noticed that no leaps covered his sharp yellow teeth.
“Yes please, that would be great,” I said, desperately trying to be polite.
A long, bendable tail came to sight carrying a table with a very cute teapot, a cup and an enormous sandwich. He put down the table and pulled out a chair from the corner.
“Do you want sugar in your tea? Milk?” He coiled his tail around a tiny mug of milk and some sugar cubes, and I saw that his tail ended in a very thin tail in the end, which explained how he managed life without arms. I sat down to eat. Splendid sandwich.
“Will you keep me company?” I felt a bit lonely and it was nice to finally have someone to talk to.
“Of course, milady.” He sat down on the bed.
“Don’t ‘milady’ me, please.” I started to eat, but I couldn’t stop wondering what kind of creature this man was.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know your name.” I said, very curiously.
“My name is Eversmiling. I know your name, you’re Hannah.”
“Yes...” I drank some of my tea and tried to remember when I introduced myself, “How come you have no leaps?”
“Aaah...” Eversmiling said thoughtfully, “It happened when I was young and liked to lie to people. I told this fellow this huge lie about how I almost drowned when I hauled this enormous dolphin on board. Unfortunately he knew I was lying and cut my leaps of, ‘cause he hated to see me laugh at people who believed me.”
“What an evil thing to do.” I said shocked.
“Yeah, it was. But hey, I do live in the land of evilness.” I took a bite out of my sandwich and watched him scratching his ear with that long tail.
“It’s that why you don’t have any arms as well?” I asked. He burst out laughing at my question.
“Ha-ha, no, but thanks for the idea.” He winked at me, “No, we Howlers are borne without arms. No one in Evileria has got ‘human-arms’. Some, like myself, have no arms, other feet instead, or wings or even tentacles. No one has got fingers and elbows like you.” I had eaten up my food now and Eversmiling gathered the cups and table and was to leave.
“It was nice talking to you, Hannah. I’ll remember that about the arms. Cut of someone’s arms for lying, ha-ha, what a splendid idea.” I wasn’t overly pleased with giving him that idea.
“I’m kind of bored, Eversmiling. Do you mind if I take a walk around the castle.”
“No, not at all. I don’t think the king mind either. He is a bit busy at the time.” So that’s how I spent the rest of my day, wandering around the castle. It was much larger than I had expected. All stonewalls and a chill wind floating around the corridors. There were also loads of scary armours standing in the corners and guarding the doors.

Suddenly I heard voices coming out from one of the rooms. I don’t know if I should have done what I did, but I walked closer.
“She is not getting better, King.” I recognized the deep voice of Eversmiling.
“Are you sure she came voluntarily?” I leaned closer to the door so that I wouldn’t miss a word, but all I heard was silence. In the end someone broke it.
“I don’t know. I may have forced her...”
“Why did you do that? You knew that it was deadly important that she would come on her own!” Eversmiling said in crossly.
“Well,” said the voice that I believed was the King, “you will have to make her want to stay here, on our side. It was foolish of you to drag her with you here, she hates this place!”
“She was going to run off, I had no choice.” Ethel, I reckoned, said. Then I woman’s voice whispered;
“It’s okay, Ethel. Just make her want to come back. Make her like this place and understand the issues we have right now.” The voices lowered and I couldn’t hear any more of what was being said. I leaned even closer but I abruptly fell into an armour and it made a terrible noise. I’m certain that someone pushed me, but when I turned my head to look, only another one of this chill winds fuzzed down the corridor. I didn’t have much time to wonder about that because Eversmiling and Ethel stood before me, looking surprised and angry, yet Eversmiling seemed amused.
“What do you think you’re doing? Sneaking around like that?” Eversmiling growled, “A true Evilie you are!”Ethel stilled looked surprised and didn’t say anything, but a smile lurked on his face.
“I’m sorry,” I had to come up with something quick, “I fell. Someone pushed me.”Eversmiling laughed loudly and said; “Of course! You must have met our cheeky-ghosts. They like to push people into armours and down stairs.” “Hannah,” Ethel ignored the laughing Eversmiling and looked at me, “what exactly did you hear?” “Nothing.” I lied. He certainly didn’t believe me, but another two figures followed out and no more questions were asked. They carefully shut the door behind them.
The tallest of them was very creepy and wore a black crown upon his head. The king, I supposed, and I probably was right too. He had black eyes with no white in them and dark grey shells like a snake all over. A long tail like Eversmiling he also had, but it ended in a brush-tail.
His feet and arms were like a lions and he had a mane like one too, only black as the night. White teeth were uncovered when he gave me a big smile, but the King did not speak.
The other one was much smaller in size, but a lot more colourful. She was green all over and her arms were gigantic, green-feathered wings. Wait! Green feathers!
“Ethel, the feathers-“ but he kicked me hard in the side and made me shut up. She had big, round eyes and a yellow beak with a small set of teeth inside. I could also see from where I sat (I hadn’t got up yet) that she had a tail like a green bird. She took a few steps towards me and looked at me carefully. The woman’s feet made clippety-clop sounds like a horse make and yes; she did have hooves.
“Who’s she? Who’s she?” she cackled.
The King bended down to look at me and I felt his warm, stinky breath.
“So this is the girl that is going to save us all? Sure it’s the right one, Ethel?”
Ethel blushed, but confirmed it. The king straightened up and said to the rest of them;
“I think we need a babysitter for this one. She seems to go lurking and stick her nose in things that does not matter her at all.” He grinned to the people surrounding him, but Eversmiling was dancing far off in the corridor towards the main-doors. He had no plans of ‘babysitting’.
“You, Ethel, I know you have other things to take care of, but can you follow Lady Hannah to her bedroom.” I hated this Lady thing, “Feathers, you’ll show her around the castle and the city tomorrow.” “Well, well...” the green bird-woman looked at me, “maybe, maybe... I’ll check my diary, check my diary.” “it wasn’t a question, Feathers, it was an order.” Feathers bowed and mumbled something unintelligible.
“Come, Hannah.” Ethel gently took my arm and walked back with me to my room. “You’ll have a long day tomorrow. I didn’t kick you too hard, did I? I’m so sorry.”
“It’s okay. Who was that bird, Feathers?” I asked as we walked past some colourful, but dreadful paintings.
“Just a helpful friend, I’ll be glad if you didn’t mentioned it to the king. She gave me the.. um.. the potion I used on you. Sorry about that. Are you feeling better?
“Yeah, I’m starting too.” I scratched a puncture wound I’d just discovered. Must’ve been where the needle had gone through with the drug.
“So what have you done today? You disappeared once we got here.”
“Just round and about, nothing special.” He was trying to avoid this conversation.
“You said you had some important things to take care of.”
“Listen, Hannah. I can’t lie, so please don’t ask me any more questions.” I leaved it with that, so we walked in silence for a while until we came across a door with the letter ‘E.T’ on it.
“What’s that?” I asked. I walked closer and reached for the handle.
“We can’t go in there. It’s illegal.”
“But what is it?” I heard bip-bip-noices and a sound like a fax-machine.
“There the evilies keep their machine which tests how evil and how good you are. The Evil-Tester. They just care about the evil”
I must have looked like a living question mark.
“Most evilies are 97%-99% evil,” Ethel seemed happy to have something interesting to talk about, “same is for the goodies, only opposite.”
“What about humans? How evil are they?”
“It depends. Some are 54% evil, others 45%, 32%, 44% and so on.” He used his hands to demonstrate how good and evil humans are.
“But you said we were 50-50?”
“No, I didn’t. It is very rare that a person is 50-50. Actually, there are more 40-60s around.” I thought about that for a while.
“Can we test me?”
“No, we can’t. It’s illegal to test someone without the King’s permission.”
“but no one has to know!”
“I said; it is illegal.” I felt like talking to a wall. “please.”
“I cannot break the rules, Hannah I’m 89% good!”
“What about the other 11%s? That’s quite a lot, isn’t it?”
“The discussion is over.”
What was it with this guy? So damn nice, but so darn weird too! “But only-“ He gave me the look and I shut up.

***

Back in my bedroom I felt exhausted and I fell down head first on the bed.
“Here.” Ethel handed me a little purple bottle, which looked like perfume, “drink it.”
After the latest experiences with this Ethel, I did not take it. It probably had some gruesome side-effects.
“What is it?” I asked suspicious.
“Nothing dangerous, just a drink to make your night dreamless.”I like to dream and I felt like wanting to dream. Maybe I’ll be back in my own bed again.
“Please, we don’t want you to run back home just yet.” I considered it and I came to that if I did not take it, he probably would just force it into me.
“remember, I’m a goodie, I won’t harm you.” Well, I still remembered the kick in the side, the pain after the potion and my fall from the tree (I don’t know how he comes into that, but I believe he has something to do with that).I believe I fell asleep at once after drinking it. And I did not dream.
