So we're getting a new puppy. It's a purebred collie or something. My mom's bringing her out from Minnesota in about a week.
The thing is I'm not sure how our dog's going to feel about having some upstart biter romping around.

In my somewhat limited experience, dogs that get along well with other dogs in general do pretty well with living with new animals. Sometimes there's a difficult transition period but dogs tend to be social animals I think. Hope yours makes the adjustment well.

That can be an exciting time, I remember when my parents brought Lucky home. A long time ago, but some of my most vivid memories. Good luck with the new pooch.
